One Gamel replacement option that I forgot…
…And I might like this one the best.
8. The Brewers move George Kottaras to 1st base to platoon with someone. That makes Travis Ishikawa expendable and gets Kottaras out from behind the plate, where he is sub-par. It also gets his bat in the lineup and gives Martin Maldonado a chance to get some big league time. Maldonado doesn’t have a strong bat, but he has a cannon and is considered an above-average defensive catcher. Not a bad option at all.

FIRST KOTTARAS AND NOW BRAUN.
Good things happening this game!
HE IS AMAZING. EVERYTIME I WANT HIM TO DO SOMETHING GOOD, HE DOES SOMETHING GOOD. AND HE IS BEAUTIFUL. And, that is all.
So, we lost…
BUT DID YOU SEE THAT FUCKING KOTTARAS HIT?!
The new catch phrase?
I saw a tweet yesterday by beat writer, Tom Haudricourt. He had asked Randy Wolf about the crazy work he and George Kottaras did yesterday against the Cubs. He coined it:
The Wolfattaras rampaged Arizona yesterday. I hope to see more Wolfattaras sightings in April.
Um, excuse me, it’s pronounced ko-TAR-us…
Be still my heart.
