Recent Brewers game excursion…
I don’t want to brag but I did call that last Braun home run and then I called this game as a win and we won!

This game was awesome for multiple reasons. One, Dollar Hot Dog Day! Hell Yeah! Two, awesome friends and awesome seats (for cheap!)! Three, Riverwest Stein (I always forget to look for the Lakefront stands.)! Four, my card wouldn’t swipe when I was getting beer for me and Tom and the guy behind me paid for my drinks, and was totally not creepy about it! Oh, and then we went out for mexican food with the dogs… so yeah, pretty sweet fucking day.

Ryan Braun up to bat:
Tom: What do you think is going to happen here?
Me: He’s going to get a home run.
*CRACK*
Me: Told you.

My pitcher is better than yours.
Action shot of tonight’s lineup vs. the Reds
Jerry Narron actually writing out the lineup card. Thanks Mike Vassallo.
Narron actually said he has been doing calligraphy for so long that writing the lineup card out like this doesn’t really take any more time that doing it in his own handwriting. Look a lot cooler though.
As for the actual lineup, Morgan is back in CF and Ishikawa is at 1B again. It would be nice to see a little more of Taylor Green at 1B for his bat. Ishikawa does have a good glove though.
One Gamel replacement option that I forgot…
…And I might like this one the best.
8. The Brewers move George Kottaras to 1st base to platoon with someone. That makes Travis Ishikawa expendable and gets Kottaras out from behind the plate, where he is sub-par. It also gets his bat in the lineup and gives Martin Maldonado a chance to get some big league time. Maldonado doesn’t have a strong bat, but he has a cannon and is considered an above-average defensive catcher. Not a bad option at all.

Ryan Braun became the first player to ever hit three home runs in a game at Petco Park.
In his attempt to hit a fourth home run, he hit a two-run triple.
He finished the game 4-5 with 3 HR 6 RBI and 3 runs scored.
Most importantly, the Brewers defeated the Padres 8-3.
WHAT A BEAST…
ryan braun trending on twitter!! yay!

But can’t we argue that “6 RBI” and “3 HR” are also basically Ryan Braun trends?!

OMG, BRAUN!!!
